Balıkesir’in Edremit ilçesinde konuşlandırılan, ’Polis Botu’nda Vali İsmail Ustaoğlu, incelemelerde bulundu. Ustaoğlu, beraberinde Kaymakam Ahmet Odabaş, İl Emniyet Müdürü Hasan Yiğit, İl Jandarma Komutanı Tümgeneral Nurettin Alkan, İlçe Emniyet Müdürü Burak Lehimer ve İlçe Jandarma Komutanı Binbaşı Serkan Özdemir olduğu halde Akçay’da bulunan teknede incelemelerde bulundu. İl Emniyet Müdürlüğü envanterinde bulunan teknenin Balıkesir kıyı sularda acil durum ve yasa dışı faaliyetlerin önlenmesi ve su üzerinde suçluların yakalanması gibi operasyonlarda kullanılacağı öğrenildi.
